To the treasurer and chamberlains. Order to deliver to the merchants of the societies of the Bardi and Peruzzi all the money due to the king for wool in the city of London and in cos. Kent, Somerset, Dorset, Cernwall, Devon, Hereford, Warwick, Wilts, Bedford, Buckingham, Cambridge and Essex, by the sheriffs and other receivers of wool there, as it has been ordained with the advice of the council that the merchants shall cause that wool to be bought and purveyed and further do the king's will therewith.
