To the treasurer and barons of the exchequer. Order to cause 600 marks to be allowed to Henry Darcy, the mayor, aldermen and community of London in the sum of 800 marks in which they were bound to the king before Michaelmas last, beyond the 1,000/. which they owe for the triennial fifteenth granted in the last parliament at Westminster, paid to John.de Leycestr[ia], one of the chamberlains of the exchequer, at the king's order, if they have paid that sum to Edmund de la Beche, sometime keeper of the wardrobe, for the expenses of the household, in accordance with the king's order on 20 June last, for they have paid the said 600 marks, as may appear, they assert, by Edmund's letters patent, which are in their possession.
