To the treasurer and barons of the exchequer. Order to account Tower. With John de Burton and Gervase de Rouclif, executors of the will of Master Simon de Stanes for Simon's wages and expenses while he was in the king's service, and for the sums received by him upon such wages, and further to cause to be done what the nature of the account requires, as the executors have besought the king to order account to be made with them, as Simon was lately appointed commissary with others to continue the treaties and processes then begun between the king and his subjects and the kings ot France and their subjects, by reason of which appointment, Simon remained in Gascony in the said service until the day of his death, and he received 33/. 6s. 8d. upon his wages and expenses, from the treasurer and chamberlains of the exchequer, which sum is now exacted of him. 10. To John Moryn, escheator beyond Trent or to him who supplies his place in co. Northumberland.
