By K. of assignment of dower to Joan, late the wife of Sir John of lands in Westchelbergh, co. Dorset, by Ralph de escheator in cos. Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall, the eve of SS. Peter and Paul, 11 Edward III: certain in the south part of the court of a place with a curtilage called and Bernhey, and the south part of a cowshed to the north the middle house, with a plot called Southerber ; also all the field called Northfeld, with moor, pasture, alder grove, cliffs and (clyvis et lynchis) adjacent, also all of the demesne meadow lying with 4 acres of meadow lying in Martynesmoresalso a certain plot called Hathewynesmor with Heddesclyve, and Godewyneslond ; also all rents and services to be received lands which Elizabeth de Ramesham, John Slyk, Richard le Margery Wymark, Roger Nyweman, Alice Lenelyf, Nicholas le and Robert West hold, with 2s. yearly rent from a tene- Hugh le Gandre holds in the said town; also all the profits from Hugh Matthew, Hugh Stupel, Thomas Sampson and le Honte, collector of poll tax. of acquittance testifying that Hugh de Bray, parson of church, Walbrok, London, executor of the will of John le of Walbrok, and also executor of the will of Juliana, late wife and co-executrix of his will, has received from Sir William clerk, by the hands of Robert de Welde, all debts in which was bound to John and Juliana.
