Memorandum, that John, son of Thomas, came into chancery at Westminster on 5 March, and acknowledged the preceding deed. Enrolment of grant by Richard, son and heir of Thomas Brian, called Fairher, of Suthwerk, to John Pincelegle, of Genoa, citizen of London, and Katherine his wife, of all that tenement with houses, gardens, curtilages, fishponds, hays, ditches and other appurtenances, which he has by hereditary succession after the death of his father Thomas, in the marsh of the bishop of Winchester, in the parish of St. Margaret, Suthwerk, the tenement is situated in breadth between the highway upon the bank of the Thames, towards the north, and the tenement of William atte Fen, which formerly belonged to John Hauekyn, towards the south, and extends in length from the highway called la Mellewey, towards the east, towards the tenement of Lucy Waryn, towards the west. For this grant John Pincelegle and Katherine have given the said John a sum of money in a wallet. Witnesses, William Roce, Geoffrey Graspeis, Thomas Coleman, Geoffrey Pecok, Francis Bacheme, , John de Wynton, Peter de Bernewell, John de Besevill, John de Hydingham, John de Daventre, tilere. Dated at Suthwerk on Sunday after Martinmas, 10 Edward ITI.
