Order to continue until the quinzaine of the plea pending before them between the king and the prior and of St. Thomas the Martyr, near Stafford, concerning the church of in the diocese of Coventry and Lichfield, to which the king lately his clerk Robert de Marchumley, the prior and convent claiming hold the church for their own uses, as the prior and convent have shewn king that they have in their possession divers muniments and evidences the appropriation, in order that they may meanwhile inform the and his council concerning their said muniments, and that the said may inform the king and his council concerning the king's right. By p.s. [4874] the treasurer, barons and chamberlains of the exchequer.
