To the mayor and bailiffs of Lincoln. Writ of supersedeas, by of Thomas de Carleton of Lincoln, John de Harwode of John de Shelton of London and Walter Segrave of London, respect of the execution of a judgment in the court of the city of whereby Hugh Grenake tavernere was convicted of debt suit of John Calthorp and John de Stirop of Hull, and damages adjudged to the plaintiffs ; as at his suit, averring error in the and process and in the rendering of judgment in that cause, king ordered the mayor and bailiffs at a day yet to come to send same under seal and all things which concern the same, that he P view them and deal therewith as ought to be done according d the law and custom of England.
