Fulk de Pembrugge knight to Hugh de Segrave knight. Recognisance for 100 marks, to be levied etc. in Staffordshire. Anthony de Spanby, cousin and heir of Sir John de Mewes knight of Holdernes (Holdernesse), to John son of John de Langton of York, his heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of all lands in Huddelston, Fenton and Farburne which were held by the said John de Langton, so that by virtue of this warranty the said Anthony or his heirs shall not be bound to make up the value of the premises, but shall be barred from suing to recover the same. Witnesses : Robert de Neville, Robert de Roos knights, Thomas Graa of York, Robert Savage of the same, Hugh de Mitford. Dated York, the morrow of Michaelmas 7 Richard IT. Anthony de Spanby (as above) to Robert de Wyclyf clerk, John Depedene and John de Hoton chaplain, their heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of all lands in Huddilston, Fenton and Farburne which were held by John de Langton of York, so that by virtue etc. (as in the last). Witnesses (as the last). Dated London, the feast of St. Katherine 7 Richard II.
