To Robert de Parys escheator in Cambridgeshire. Order to remove the king's hand and meddle no further with a messuage, 61 acres of land and 2 acres of meadow in Hynxton, delivering up any issues thereof taken ; as it is found by inquisition, taken by Ralph Wykes late escheator, that the premises were held by William Bokenham, a traitor and insurgent ; and after by another inquisition, taken by the said Robert, it is found that he had no estate therein but as tenant at will by demise of William de Clopton knight, the same being held in chief as parcel of the manor of Hynxton; and after deliberation in chancery with the justices, serjeants and others of the council learned in the law the king reckons the seizure insufficient.
