Robert de Wylughby lord of Eresby to Alina Lestraunge lady of Knokyn and Philip le Despenser knight. Recognisance for 800 marks, to be levied etc. in Lincolnshire. Dame Alina Lestraunge lady of Knokyn and Sir Philip le Despenser to Sir Robert de Wylughby lord of Eresby. Indenture of defeasance of the foregoing recognisance, upon condition that if Lucy wife of William eldest son of Sir Robert and daughter of Alina shail die within five years from Wednesday after the Epiphany (le Tiphayne) last without issue by him, Sir Robert or some other in his name shall within two years after her death pay to Dame Alina or Sir Phili 400 marks at Westminster, and that the said William and Lucy an the heirs of their bodies may hold and enjoy the manors of Whetacre, Egefelde and Walcote cos. Norffolk and Suffolk, whereof they are enfeoffed, without recovery by Sir Robert or his heirs by any title anterior to these presents, or that if they be impleaded concerning the same or parcel thereof and shall vouch Sir Robert or his heirs to warranty, and the same be lost without fraud or covin, or such voucher lie not, Sir Robert or his heirs shall within one year cause them to have an equivalent for the same.
