To the abbot and convent of Burton upon Trent. Request to take from William Wyghteman servitor of the chancery, who has a maintenance for life in that house at the grant and command the late king, their letters patent under the common seal of the house, admit the said William and Agnes his wife, and to minister to them their lives and to the survivor of them such maintenance as the William had, making them letters patent under the said seal with of what they shall take, and writing again by the bearer what will do ; as for the said William's good servce the king has granted maintenance to him and the said Agnes as aforesaid. By K. Thomas son of Thomas de Baa to John Asscheby of Blacolueslee the heirs of his body, with remainder to the heirs of the said Charter with warranty of a messuage and one carucate of in Blacolueslee with crofts, rents etc., also of a messuage with crofts called Rodestonplace, and two thirds of two virgates of in Wodeblacolueslee called Gollofers.
