Order by mainprise of Robert Bertelot and Alan Edlyngton (as above) to set free John Cokerell chaplain, imprisoned at the several suits of Thomas bishop of Ely, Richard Pyttes and John Rigges clerks averring threats. Ellis de Thorp citizen and skinner of London to Richard Saumoun, John de Estbury and John Brooke, their heirs and assigns. Charter of the reversion of a messuage and one carucate of land in Bokelond and Pusye, now held for life by Alice who was wife of Geoffrey de Newenton, the reversion whereof the said Geoffrey by fine levied in the king's court granted to the said Ellis. Witnesses: Sir Gilbert Talbot knight, Gilbert Schetesbroke, Thomas Themese, Thomas Farendon, John Feteplace, John Sewale, Richard Pulter. Dated 1 May 4 Richard II. Ellis de Thorp (as above) to Richard Saumoun ete. (as above). Quitclaim of a messuage and land (as in the last), the reversion whereof he has granted them by charter. Witnesses: Sir Gilbert de Talbot, Gilbert de Schotesbroke etc. (as before). Dated 3 May 4 Richard II.
