Surrey which were of Roger Spynay and after his death came by inheritance to Thomas West, and which the said Nicholas and Walter have by feoffment of Sir Thomas de Holand knight. Bond in 1,0001. payable Easter next at the manor of Swyllyngton. Dated 16 February II. of acknowledgment in the chancery at Westminster, February. Bray of Tyllebery to William Robetot, John Gounce and de Heygham, their heirs and assigns. Charter with warranty manor of Tyllebery and appurtenances in that town, the advowof the church excepted. Robetot of the one part, John Bray and Geoffrey Michel other part. Indenture of covenant, that the said William before Sir John de Cavendissh acknowledge the manor of Southall to be of the said Geoffrey, William Hore, John Bredeford, Sewale of Mapeltrestede, Edmund Heryng and William and of the said Geoffrey's heirs, that at their cost a fine shall be levied in the king's court with warranty by William during his life, that the said Geoffrey and the others shall before Midsummer next make a release of such warranty and in chancery, that in the release shall be a pain of 1001. the said William shall be vouched to warranty or suffer hurt, loss or cost, that the said John and Geoffrey shall make him in 1001. to be acknowledged in chancery with condition that he not suffer damage or less by reason of a lease for a term of years made to John Cantebr[igge] when he had an estate in the said and that they shall deliver to him a release of the said manor already made to the said Geoffrey, Roger Keterych and others.
