To the sheriff of Wiltesir. Order to pay to John de Wydeford 4d. a day and the arrears since Michaelmas last ; as by letters patent of 4 December in the 41st year of his reign the late king granted to the said John for life the keeping of his manor of Claryndon, taking 4d. a day for his wages, which grant the king has confirmed, and retained the said John with him. By C. on inf. of Thomas Orgrave. Et erat patens.
