To William de Belesby knight sheriff of Lincoln and John de Helynge of Grymesby. Order to levy of the possessors divers goods chattels of the king's enemies of Scotland laded in a ship which a voyage was split by a storm on the sea coast off the parts of during the truce between the king and the Scots, if the same or otherwise the price or value thereof, the ship excepted, and cause them to be delivered to John de Neville of Raby or to his and if the possessors shall be rebellious in regard to the of this command, order by imprisonment of their bodies to them to deliver up the same; as upon the finding of divers taken by virtue of the king's commission before the said and mayor and Richard de Park, that the said ship and goods to the hands of certain men therein named, being aware that same were taken within the bounds of the truce, and willing that be made, the king sent those inquisitions to the said sheriff mayor enclosed in a writ, commanding them to view the same, to levy the said goods or the price or value thereof, the ship excepted, of those in whose hands they were, and to deliver them to John de Neville or the said Richard his deputy ; and now the king is informed that the possessors thereof are rebellious, insomuch that they may not execute that command; and the king's will is that John de Neville save him harmless in the matter.
