Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 400/., made in chancery April 11 Richard IL by Thomas de Preston, John son of Thomas Bernak the younger, both of Norhamptonshire, William Jouet of and Robert Reynald of London grocer for William chaplain, and of an undertaking by William Kyrkstede the same pain, that he shall not depart without special licence the king to any foreign parts, nor make there any suit or attempt may tend to contempt or prejudice of the king or people, nor any man thither for the purpose.
