To the sheriffs of London. Writ of swpersedeas, by mainprise of Thomas Ewyas, Robert Roys, Thomas Marche and John Wyseman of Norffolk, in favour of Robert Langly at suit of the king and John de Midelham of Berkynge taillour for leaving the tailor s service at London before the term agreed. Alice who was wife of Thomas Doyly, and William Doyly son and heir of the said Thomas, to William Harlyngrugge, his heirs and assigns. Charter with warranty of the whole wood called Harlyngruggewode in Pyryton co. Oxford late of the said Thomas with the hedges and hays there, and of all the wood, groves, hays and hedges in that parish late of Geoffrey atte Dene and after of the said Thomas ; and quitclaim with warranty of all plots (sortis), acres and selions of land and all lands in Pyryton lying between land of the grantee, and in a field called Stokkynge which lies by the highway, and in a croft called Clakkesle, with all hedges and hays, held for life by the grantee and Cicely his mother (now deceased) by grant of the said Thomas ; also of all lands ete. called Hillelond and Denelond, and all other lands in the said parish by him held for life by grant of the said William Doyly.
