Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 500 marks, made in chancery at Worcester 12 August this year by John Joce of Herefordshire for himself and for Nicholas Braye and Haukin atte Forde, that they shall be in person before the king and council in chancery in the quinzaine of Michaelmas next ready to answer whatsoever shall be laid against them on the king's behalf, and in the meantime for their peaceable behaviour toward the king and toward Thomas de Berkele, his men and servants.
