Memorandum that this [acknowledgment] was taken by Michael de la Pole the chancellor. Baldwin Berford the elder knight to William de Hampton rector of Hynton, Richard de Cudelyngton rector of Croulton and Richard de Hedryngton of Purston, their heirs and assigns. Charter with warranty of all his lands, meadows etc. in the field of Hynton called Hoferlonde and 23s. 4d. of rent in Farnyngho sometime of Thomas de Hynton, which he had by feoffment of Wynnesis Englich ; also of 3s. 4d. of yearly rent of Hugh Bone s tenement in Wendryche by Burforde co. Gloucestre. Witnesses: Sir Thomas Murdoke knight, William Doile, John de Merston, Thomas Hymworth, Roger Tetesworth. Dated Stene, Monday before the Translation of St. Martin 9 Richard II.
