Order to command all sheriffs to cause proclamation to be made in cities and market towns prohibiting any merchant, native or foreign, or other, from bringing clipped money of the king's or counterfeit money into the realm, or from using the same, under pain of forfeiting such money for the first offence, their money and goods for the second, and their bodies in addition for the third, and to order others who are not merchants to perforate such money and send it to the exchequer to be re-coined.
