de Swanlund, parson of Lutheburgh church, acknowledges that to Geoffrey de Thoresby, 48/. 6s. 8d.; to be levied, in default of of his lands and chattels in co. Lincoln. on payment. of acknowledgment of receipt testifying that in the year 1842, tenth indiction on the 80 May, in the house where Bartholomew was then staying in the parish of St. Stephen, Walebrock, in the presence of the notary and the following witnesses, Boniface of the diocese of Cahors, proctor of Andrew Berton, merchant of of the said diocese, as appeared by a public instrument, gave power to Lamfranci of Kirio, public notary by imperial authority, to receive was owed to him and give acquittance therefor, who acknowledges he has received from brother James de Cusancia, prior of St. Mary of the order of Cluny, diocese of Norwich, for himself and his 265J. in which the prior was bound to Boniface and Andrew, for and convent, as appeared by a public instrument of Master John de Heverynglond, diocese of Norwich, public apostolic notary, under 8 June, 1887, the 5th indiction, and also by a recognisance made in by the prior to Andrew Berton, at Stafford, in the 11th year of Bartholomew Thomasyn, John Ad and Master Richard de Reppes, being called as witnesses. Tested by the king as are all the entries until 7 October. Lucas John of Thaxstede, clerk, diocese of London, public apostolic notary, was present with the aforesaid witnesses and has drawn up this public form, under his customary seal.
