Order to supersede the exigents made upon de Hughteston, by a mainprise, and to have this writ before the on a certain day, as John has shown the king that whereas Robert parson of Eyton church, impleads him before the justices of the to render his account to Robert for the time when he was receiver of money, and because by process held thereupon, the sheriff before the justices that John was not found and had nothing in bailiwick by which he could be attached, the king ordered the sheriff by de judicio returnable before the justices on the octaves of Trinity next cause John to be exacted from court to court until he should be if he did not appear, and if he appeared to take him to answer in the said plea; and now John has besought the king by petition him and his council, to order the exigents to be superseded by a security, because he is placed in exigent in the county to be although he has lands in the county where he can be distrained the account and he is ready to stand to right upon the premises the said day in all things; and John has found the following in chancery: Roger Michel, John le Rotour, Hugh de Aston, de Blithefeld, Roger de Aston, Adam de Hopton and Henry le of that county and John de Broghton of co. Northampton, who undertaken to have John before the justices on the said day to answer in the said plea and further to do and receive what the king's court determine in the premises. By pet. of C.
